After Comet - Snufkin

I'm working on an alternative reality story and world based on the Moomin series by Tove Jansson, especially Moomin TV series and the Moomin movie "Muumipeikko ja Pyrstötähti".

"Due to his curious and laid back attitude, whether the comet would hit or miss, Snufkin (Nuuskamuikkunen) wanted to be there to witness whatever would happen. He left the cave while others were sleeping and climbed up on a dry and rocky cliff, which had been next to the sea, but would now only lead to the countless trenches of the ocean floor.

Stories tell, a moment before the comet finally hit Moominvalley with it's destructive force, the most beautiful song that had ever been created or for that matter played, was heard near that shore. Snufkin's harmonica was molten badly and by that attaching to his mouth, his vocal cords burnt from the heat and the comet was so bright that he was permanently blinded by watching that amazing, yet terrible sight.

Later on Snork (Niisku) was able to help him, by working on the harmonica and fixing it into a communication device, a working harmonica, rather than being just a molten piece of metal."
